Alcossebre and Alcalà de Xivert each have their own health centre; out-of-hours emergency care for the municipality is in Alcalà. The reference hospitals are Vinaròs (to the north) and the Castellón general hospital (to the south).

The official map marks the medical centre in Alcossebre and two pharmacies in the coastal town, plus two more in Alcalà: name, address and phone of all four are in the practical services guide. The duty pharmacy rotates, so check at the time.

There is no taxi rank in Alcossebre: you call. These are the town’s four services — a list verified with the town council in August 2026, in which three changed trading name — plus the Renfe number and the marina.
