When they are: five days over two weekends
The municipal programme sets the 2026 Capicorb festivities on five separate days: 18 and 19 July (Saturday and Sunday) and 24, 25 and 26 July (Friday to Sunday). It is not a continuous run, so if you are coming especially for them, check the exact day.
This is a small-hamlet festival: everything happens in the square and the shared spaces of the village, all within walking distance. The hour-by-hour programme is published by the festival committee a few days beforehand, on alcaladexivert.es and alcossebre.org.
What the programme holds
The pattern repeats every year and is the classic one of the Castellón coast: community dinners — neighbours eating together in the street — concerts and an open-air dance, an alternative bull event and games and activities for all ages in the afternoon.
In 2026 there is an extra that fits right in: on Saturday 25 July at 22:30, the municipal Estiu a la Fresca series brings the duo Triband to the old Capicorb schools. Free to attend, like the rest of the series.

Where Capicorb is and what to see there
Capicorb (Cap i Corb in Valencian) is the southern coastal hamlet of the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre, about ten minutes by car from the centre of Alcossebre. It keeps a traditional, quiet feel, closely tied to the sea, and two pieces of heritage worth the detour:
- The Capicorb tower, a 16th-century watchtower from the network that warned of Barbary pirates — a raid on it is documented in 1586.
- The 18th-century port warehouses, some 500 m² where carob, salt and oil were stored for shipping from a port that no longer exists, and which since 1971 have housed the El Túnel nightclub. The full story is in the history of Alcossebre.

Getting there and parking
It is a ten-minute drive from Alcossebre along the coast road, and reachable from the AP-7 (exit 44) or the N-340 via Alcalà de Xivert. Access and transport details are in the how to get here guide.
Parking is not a problem: the blue zone only regulates streets in the centre of Alcossebre, so in Capicorb parking is free. More in the parking guide. On festival nights it pays to arrive early, as the hamlet is small.
Where to stay for the festivities
Capicorb has little accommodation of its own, so most people sleep in Alcossebre and drive down.
