When is the blue zone active?
The Alcossebre blue zone operates at Easter and in summer (15 June to 30 September). The rest of the year, parking on those streets is free.
Regulated hours in high season are 11:00–14:00 and 16:00–22:00. Outside those windows (for example, early morning) parking is free.
Rates and maximum stay
Maximum stay is 2 hours. Published rates: €0.20 (30 min), €0.60 (1 hour) and €1.55 (2 hours, maximum).
If you overstay, you can cancel the fine by paying €4.25 at the meter within the following hour.
Rates may be updated by municipal by-law: always check the parking meter.
Which streets are blue zone?
Regulation covers town-centre streets such as Romeral, Barquer, Colón, Rench, Atall, Alcalá, Ausias March and Blasco Ibáñez, among others. There is also a green zone with its own rules (regulated 11:00–14:00).
Pay from your phone
You can pay and top up your ticket from your phone with the e-staciona app, without going back to the car. Very handy if you are on the beach when your time runs out.
Free parking and summer tips
Outside the regulated centre streets, parking is free: the further you move from the promenade and Cargador beach, the easier it gets. In July and August, arrive before 11:00 or park in residential areas and walk a few minutes.
If you are staying in an apartment or hotel, ask about private parking: several central properties include it, so you can forget the car for your whole stay.
Reduced mobility
People with reduced mobility (with a valid badge) can use the blue zone free for 8 hours.
