The four, and how they differ
The town hall’s Accommodation Guide lists four camping establishments in the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre. What changes a holiday most is not the star rating but where each one is and what kind of accommodation it offers:
- On the beach — Camping Playa Tropicana, on Camí l’Atall.
- Inside the Sierra de Irta Natural Park — Camping Ribamar.
- Inland, in Alcalà de Xivert, fifteen minutes from the sea — Los Olivos Camping Park.
- A motorhome area rather than a campsite, in the village — Las Moreras AC.
Two of them have bungalows and two do not. If you travel by motorhome, three will do and one is built precisely for it.
One by one
Camping Playa Tropicana (4★)
The municipality’s beachfront campsite, on Camí l’Atall next to Manyetes beach. It lists a pool, supermarket, restaurant, laundry, hairdresser, playground and wifi, and stays open all year.

Camping Ribamar (4★)
The only one inside the Sierra de Irta Natural Park, between sea and mountain. Its bungalows take up to four people — plus a fifth under twelve — and the pitches have water and electricity. It lists pools, the restaurant La Taula d’Irta, a library, a multi-sports area and electric-car charging points, and it is the first Starlight Camping in the Valencian Community, with the ICTE sustainability mark.

Los Olivos Camping Park (3★)
The inland one, in Alcalà de Xivert and fifteen minutes from the beaches. It has no bungalows: pitches only, in three sizes — Confort at about 50 m², Plus at about 120 m² and Superior at about 150 m², the latter two with drainage — which makes it comfortable for large caravans and motorhomes. It lists a pool, a gym, a dog area, washing machines, a playground, a small shop, a café and wifi. It is seasonal.

Las Moreras AC (1★)
Not a conventional campsite: it presents itself as a motorhome area (camper park), inside Alcossebre itself. Levelled 40 m² pitches with individual electric hook-up and summer shade, a special zone for large motorhomes, a wash bay, water filling and waste emptying also for vehicles in transit, toilets, hot showers, washers and dryers. It also lists a restaurant and a pool.

Pitch, bungalow or motorhome
Pitch. A tent, caravan or motorhome on a plot with water and electricity. It is the cheapest and most flexible option, and size matters more than you would think: at Los Olivos they range from about 50 m² to about 150 m², the two largest with drainage; at Ribamar they are 90 to 100 m².
Bungalow. The way to sleep at a campsite without pitching anything: your own bed, kitchen and bathroom. Ribamar has forty-one — up to four people plus a fifth under twelve — and Playa Tropicana has bungalows and apartments too.
Motorhome. If you bring your home with you, Las Moreras AC is built for it: levelled pitches, a zone for large vehicles and filling and emptying services even if you are only passing through. Los Olivos, with its Plus and Superior pitches, is the other comfortable option for large vehicles.

Before you book
The season rules. July and August are the busiest months across the destination, and one of the four is seasonal, so confirm opening dates before setting off. If your trip falls outside summer, the Alcossebre out of season guide covers what stays open.
