Apartamentos Hibiscus, where Las Fuentes meets the hills
Apartamentos Hibiscus is on Camino l’Atall, at the end of Las Fuentes closest to the Sierra de Irta Natural Park. It is 66 m² with two bedrooms, and its particularity is that there are units for four and units for six: you pick according to the group.Between the beach of the springs and the natural park
Las Fuentes beach is a short walk away: it is the one with the freshwater springs that rise through the sand itself, something that happens nowhere else in the district. And in the other direction the Sierra de Irta Natural Park begins, with its seaside paths and undeveloped coves.
Being at this end has a practical consequence: you lose some of the marina’s bustle and gain quiet and direct access to the hills. That is a trade worth deciding on beforehand, not discovering on arrival.
66 m² and two bedrooms, for four or for six
It is 66 m² with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The agency publishes four-person and six-person units, so the same complex works for a small family and a large one; you have to ask for the right one when booking.
With six people and a single bathroom, it is better to know in advance. There is a terrace, sea views and Wi-Fi, and no air conditioning.
A pool for adults and children, with a season
The complex has a large garden area and a pool for adults and children. The agency states the season, so we repeat it here: it is usually open from Easter to the end of October. Worth confirming on arrival.
Access to the complex is by stairs, and there is no parking space. If you are driving in August, see the list of those with their own space.
Diving, fishing and paths minutes away
This is a base for people who intend to go out: diving and fishing minutes away, and the Sierra de Irta paths starting practically next door, with the wild coves at the end of the walk. In high season the Las Fuentes area has supermarkets, a medical centre and the full range of services.
Hibiscus or Palma Blanca
Four hundred metres away is Palma Blanca, in the same corner of Las Fuentes and with the same pool and garden. The real differences are two: Palma Blanca has air conditioning and Hibiscus does not, and Palma Blanca only has units for six. If you are travelling in August and the heat matters, the choice is clear; if four of you are travelling, or you are coming outside July and August, Hibiscus gives you the same for less.
Booking for both is handled by Casa Azahar.
