Apartamentos Ibiza in Alcossebre
Apartamentos Ibiza is on the Passeig Marítim in Alcossebre (Alcocebre), steps from El Cargador beach and a short walk from the marina. At 145 m², these are the largest apartments in the whole catalogue: the next largest is 130 m².On the promenade, beside a Blue Flag beach
El Cargador has held the Blue Flag for years and is the village’s main beach: natural sand, calm water and the promenade right across it. Being on the promenade itself changes a holiday more than you would expect, because in summer that is where the life is: cafés, ice-cream parlours and restaurants with their terraces at the water’s edge.
The marina is a short walk away, so you can have dinner facing the boats or stroll at sunset without ever taking the car.
145 m², three bedrooms and two bathrooms
It is 145 m² with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, for up to six people. With six, the second bathroom is what you actually notice: in a one-bathroom flat, six people queue. And a hundred and forty-five square metres is not a brochure figure — it is the difference between being comfortable and being cramped for a whole week.
It has a terrace, sea views and Wi-Fi. It has no air conditioning, which is worth knowing before booking for August; in June and September it stops mattering.
The pool: what there is and what there is not
This complex has no pool of its own. What it does have — small print first — is that in high season guests are given access to a pool nearby, from the second weekend of July to the first weekend of September. Outside those weeks there is no pool.
If a pool is a requirement rather than a bonus, see the list of the ones that have it inside the complex. Access to the building is by stairs.
What is around
On the promenade everything is walkable: supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants and the beach itself. The day trips start here too: up to the Santa Lucía hermitage for the views, along the paths of the Sierra de Irta Natural Park, or over to the marina area.
Who it suits, and how to book
It suits families or groups of up to six who want real space and want to be where the life is, and anyone who would rather not depend on a car. It does not suit anyone who needs a pool in the building itself or air conditioning in August.
Booking is handled by Casa Azahar, the local agency.
