The Apartamentos Al-Andalus are a holiday rental complex in Alcossebre (Alcocebre / Alcoceber) that stands out for its generous gardens and its swimming pools, in a quiet setting halfway between nature and the town. They sit about 500 metres from the beach and from the town centre, a distance that gives you peace and quiet without giving up walking everywhere.
Gardens, pools and calm
What guests notice first at Al-Andalus is the space. The complex is laid out around wide landscaped areas with pools for adults and children, which turns the apartment block into a place to spend the day rather than just somewhere to sleep. For families with young children this is a decisive advantage: you can alternate a morning at the beach with an afternoon in the pool without moving the car.

The apartments are designed for holidays by the sea: a living-dining room with a sofa bed, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace or balcony where you can have dinner outdoors in summer. Being somewhat set back from the busiest streets, rest is generally good, which is appreciated after a long day of sun and sea.
The beach and the town, on foot
The 500 metres separating Al-Andalus from the sea are an easy, flat walk. That puts El Cargador beach — wide, of fine sand and shallow water, with a Blue Flag — within a few minutes' reach, along with the seafront promenade. The town centre is the same distance away, so the supermarket, the pharmacy, the bakery and the restaurants are all within walking distance.
Food and surroundings
Alcossebre concentrates a good part of its dining in the centre: rice restaurants, tapas taverns and ice cream parlours, all a short walk from the apartment. Further afield, the Las Fuentes Marina offers restaurants right by the sea, and the Sierra de Irta Natural Park opens up walking and cycling routes and quiet coves for anyone wanting to get away from the busiest beaches.
Who it suits
Al-Andalus works especially well for families and for anyone who values space, greenery and a pool over being right on the seafront. If your priority is stepping straight from your door onto the sand, a first-line complex will suit you better; if what you want is a calm base, gardens and the beach a short walk away, this is a very solid choice.
Booking tips
As with almost all of Alcossebre, July and August fill up, so book well in advance if you are travelling then. In June and September you will find better prices, a quieter atmosphere and a sea that is still warm.
