🍕 Cioffi: home-made pizza and Italian-Argentine food since 1984

Pizzería Cioffi is a family-run bar and restaurant that opened in Alcossebre (Alcocebre) in 1984, one of the longest-running businesses in the village. The kitchen is open all day, from breakfast to dinner, and mixes Italian and Argentine cooking.

The menu lists more than 36 home-made pizzas, including vegetarian and halal options, from the margherita (€6) to the specials (mostly €11-16). Beyond pizza, the stand-outs are the Black Angus entrecôte with chimichurri (€22), BBQ ribs, empanadas, the “La Porteña” burger, fresh pasta (truffle sorrentinos) and fish such as sea bass or swordfish (€16-19.75). Combination plates cost €12-17, burgers €5.50-12.75, and desserts include tiramisu (€7).

It is inexpensive: Restaurant Guru puts it at €10-20 per person. There is a terrace, parking, step-free access and takeaway. The full menu, in five languages, is on its website.

💬 What diners say

On Google it scores 4.1 out of 5 from about 1,900 reviews and on TripAdvisor 3.6 from 217 (figures from Restaurant Guru, October 2026). Most appreciated: friendly staff, quick service, an old-fashioned family atmosphere, the coffee and tiramisu, and easy parking.

Criticism usually points to food that is fine but unremarkable – simple, everyday fare.
